(link to post) Regarding Dave's comment on reflowing a PCB from the bottom: In an industrial multi-stage reflowing oven, the soak and rise times are designed to heat the PCB uniformly, so the whole PCB is close to the liquid temperature when the reflowing occurs, this is not substantially different to what the reflowR does, only a reflowR is soooo convenient and compact.
